One of my ex's and our mutual cats celebrated her 3rd birthday today, so I went to give her some treats. She's cute as a button.

I was supposed to go playing football but the minute I was supposed to walk out the door I found out that the practise was cancelled. It was supposed to be our work place's first football practise this year, so it was no wonder, people weren't interested. We have a match twice a year against another library and then and only then our people are interested. They are more into the after-parties and thence they are mocking the great sport of football.

Went running to cool off. Did my usual route four times.

Today I learned that Ernest Hemingway took a urinal from his favourite bar and moved it into his Key West home, arguing that he had "pissed away" so much of his money into the urinal that he owned it.

I was damn tired the better part of the day.

Went running and ran my usual route four times. Some shopping after that.

Today I learned that the term "genocide" was coined to describe the mass killing of the Armenians in modern day Turkey in 1915. An estimated 1-2 million were killed, wiping out much of the Armenian people's heritage and history.

My thyroid gland has been hurting for couple of days straight now. Popped some painkillers to no avail. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Probably the poison disguised as the blood pressure and cholesterol medicine is the reason.

It really is quite amazing. Once I thought of paying attention to my health and paying the doctor a visit, all the fucking problems began. I probably should forget it all and do what I think is cool which is using all the fucking booze, cigarettes, illegal drugs and unhealthy food that I can muster. Doctors and medicine, a corporate scam.

Quite a typical Sunday. Some bicycle repairing and a trip to a flea market. Bought Play Misty For Me, the directional debut of Clint Eastwood.

Watched Argo and it was alright.

I felt quite depleted in the evening. Maybe a little depressed. And that's a very good fucking reason to drink some wine. Which I did. Some Montes and Dominio de Punctum, I love the title of the last one and it really is quite excellent too.

And I listened to some music. All kinds of music, preferred the heavy shit.

Today I learned that hippopotamus kill more humans on average each year than all African animals combined.

Slightly hangover.

A typical hangover day. Television (World Cup ice hockey), movies (tried to watch Tideland, but couldn't), sitcoms (30 Rock, Extras), games (Saints Row).

I don't remember what else. I did do some shopping and I went to the library. 

Today I learned that of the top 8 largest rivers, by volume of water, the Amazon River is bigger than all the others combined.

R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman (1964 - 2013).

A sad day. He was the motherfucking coolest guitar player, he wrote amazing songs, he wrote the best fucking Slayer tunes and I always said without him Slayer is not Slayer and it's hold true so far. My favourite musician, easily.

Went running later in the day and did my usual route four times. My stomach hurt a little.

Later in the evening went to my friend's home and we drank a few classes of white wine and watched some ice hockey.

Today I learned that turtles can breathe through their butts.

The first actual spring holiday and I went out shopping. I bought Dominio de Punctum Tempranillo (Spain) and Montes Limited Selection Pinot Noir (Chile) red wines exclusively.

Went running later in the day. It wasn't fun, I had a constant feel of shitting out the chili meatballs I had eaten a few hours earlier, one by one. I ran my usual route four times and I was glad to survive home.

At home I vacuumed the apartment.

Today I learned that in Germany it is not illegal to attemp a prison escape.

A proper breakfast. Didn't feel much hangover despite drinking quite a lot last night. Real Madrid vs. Dortmund Champions League game was, simply put, amazing. Real Madrid won 2-0, but Dormund is seen in the finals.

Took the cats outside (=staircase of my apartment) and they loved it. They went to sleep and I started listening to the new Cathedral album The Last Spire, their swansong -album if I'm not mistaken. Sounds bits wicked.

Today I learned that the word "Mother In Law" can be rearranged to spell "Woman Hitler".
