A good full-blown hangover. Damn that whiskey was good.

Took it very easy the whole day. Went running in the evening and did my usual route four times.

A morning run. I did my usual route four times. The weather was dead on, 15 centigrade degrees and cloudy sky.

Took it easy, the whole Saturday. Was pretty active in the cleaning business that I started yesterday, today I cleaned the mightily dirty balcony windows, it took some time and effort, but did a proper job. Used dishwashing liquid and it got the job done better than ever before.

Watched a movie called Angel's Share, a Ken Loach picture, it was nothing remarkable, decent at best, but because it partly dealt with Scottish whiskey, it had an effect on me. Thence I smelled and drank Lagavulin (16 years) and Tobermory (10 years), totally influenced by the movie. Luckily I also had some Scottish beer in the fridge (Old Worthy) too. That's it, didn't take more to booze it up. More whiskey and wine (Argentinian La Celia Pinot Noir).

A morning shift and pretty much nothing to do. There was a Middle Ages market in the near vicinity of our library, so I went there and bought some reindeer, moose and cheese sausages. They are darn good.

At home cleaned up the place real good. Vacuumed and washed the floors. Washed some carpets too. Rewarded myself with a nice meal (potatoes and Wiener schnitzel) and quality wine (La Celia Pinot Noir).

A morning shift. Woke up way too early, around 4 a.m., couldn't get sleep so brewed coffee instead. Passed the time listening to music and following where night's NHL game developed.

Vladimir Putin didn't visit our library today. All the preparations were to no use, but I don't complain.

Went to play football, almost hurt myself pretty badly in the end, twisted my ankle and both my knees and wrists were damaged, but no bones were broken, so that's pretty cool.

An evening shift. Before going in, I read an advertisement in the morning paper that Merrell barefoot shoes were at sale in the local dealership. Took a bike and bought myself a new pair of yellow (!) Merrells barefoots. Love those shoes.

Survived the summer solstice. I didn't go nowhere far, hardly further than the home sofa and nothing overwhelming happened, but it's nice that it's so quiet everywhere. The past Saturday I drank more than I should have, I woke up at the floor at some point to the sound of omnipresent thunder, too much red wine and whisky (Tobermory) and online poker.

I hadn't played poker for few months and it was nice to see I still have the touch. At best, was third in 10 people's tournament, but I played well.

Because of all the sitting and drinking all weekend, before going for a run while stretching my back, I got some severe back pains, so severe that I could hardly breathe. Popped some painkillers and decided to go for a walk anyways - turned out I was in shape enough to run, so I ran my usual route four times and it was easy even though my back was sore all the time and it got worse in the evening.

A free day. Midsummer Eve. I had nothing planned, but I went to places.

Did a morning run. Only three times my usual route because the food (Uruguayan chorizo sausages) I had eaten yesterday began to bile up my throat.

After that did some cleaning around the apartment, took a bike to a friend of mine, went to see my ex, ride with the bike all over the city.

An evening shift and it's followed by three days off work. It's Midsummer and I have no plans except for cleaning the place up, reading, sleeping and running. Maybe some booze. I don't know. Taking it easy.

Read in the morning that James Gandolfini had died in Italy at the age of 51. Rest in peace. The Sopranos is the finest drama series ever made and Tony Soprano the coolest cat of them all. Respect.

Today it was confirmed that Vladimir Putin visits our library next week. I reckon we close the place early or don't open it at all because the agents and the police and the KGB whatever have to snoop the place up. They'll throw us out the door too.

After an evening shift yesterday, prepared myself to the Confederations Cup game between Tahiti and Nigeria. It was no effort at all for Nigeria to beat Tahiti (6-1), but it was a fun game, my heart was for the underdogs, it's great seeing games where everything doesn't reek of pure professionalism.

Drank wine with ease because of today's day-off.

Early in the morning I was woken up by the text message of a girl. We texted for a while and I tried get back to sleep. 

Despite a little rain, we managed to build a decent football practise with our library's team. There was only seven of us, but that's enough.

Watched Confederations Cup yesterday between Italy and Mexico, drank some wine while at it, got pretty tired and went to sleep before the game was due. Italy won 2-1. Pirlo made a great goal, but there were some suspicious actions on the Mexican goalie.

Aaaand it's Sunday, a work day, la la la la. And I'll be working tomorrow too, couldn't be happier, I would have absolutely nothing to do at home. Sure I wouldn't. Once again, an overdose of coffee and music before going in.

Saturday duty. After a few rainy days, the day began with some rays of the sun. I listened to music before marching into work.

A Richard Gere movie, Survivor and Confederations Cup Brazil vs. Japan in the evening. Brazil hammered Japan three to nothing.

I'll be working over the weekend, so Thursday is my day-off, so like so often - after feeding myself and the cats - I indulged myself in listening to music. Just random music and it pays off when something worth my while comes 'round. Probably Black Widow's "Hail Satan" (with Tony Martin) was the tune to remember.

Took it easy the whole day. Played some new PS3 games that I got, namely Fifa 2013 and Bioshock Infinite, real good both.

Was supposed to go playing football in the evening, but it started raining heavily and I figured no-one would show up. I don't mind the rain, but from experience I know that we never get enough people. I decided to go running instead and ran my usual route four times. It was easy and quite fun, rained like hell, but I didn't mind.

My ex celebrated her birthday today and I took her out for a meal.

Nothing interesting at work. I complained about a few things, but I gotta be careful with that since I know that nothing ever happens, it's like talking to deaf ears, no-one gives a shit, we are the scum of the earth. It's no use, so I shouldn't bother, I'll just fuck up my blood pressure.

I had to watch some recording surveillance footage of what happened in the library yesterday evening. Junkies fought against each other, used some of library's pieces of furniture as a weapon and one of them verbally attacked one of my colleagues.

After work my ex, my mother and her husband came by. I didn't have a whole lot of time because I went to play football. It was our library's football team practise and only three people showed up. Of course, we couldn't make anything out of it, so I walked back home, mightily annoyed.

An easy summer workday. Watched some footage of last Saturday as some creep apparently had taken under-skirt photographs of young girls. Happened before, but hard to find any evidence.

A young boy of two years of age disappeared from his mother today, so we began searching the library premises inside and outside. I take these kind of things very seriously because I always think of all the nasty things that can happen, kidnapping or kid wandering in the busy streets. The latter has happened before. This time around I found this buy hanging around on the second floor oblivious of the desparation of his mother and the people searching him.

Yesterday evening a friend came by. We drank a few beers, went to another friend's place, drank a few more, went to a pub, more beer.

I woke up at home. Sunday.

In the evening went running anyways. Did my usual route four times and it got pretty hard the last minute because I got an urgent need to take a shit. Luckily I got home safe and sound.

An off-duty Saturday. A bowl of granola for dessert and I went running. It's nice to run in the morning and I did my usual route six times which altogether is something like 9 kilometres.

Did some shopping (red wine, cat food, cherries) and came back home for a movie. Fixed my bike and went to see my ex and our cats.

Lots of energy because of the good morning run. Hope to do it again tomorrow. Only if I don't party too hard the following night.

A slow-moving hot summer day.

Did nothing the whole morning and day. A typical hangover day. Tried watching something, ate some, slept.

In the early evening, despite the crazy weather of +29 degrees celsius and blazing sun, went running. Did my usual route four times. It was alright, not too deadly, I even had the strenght to do some extra exercise.

Lots of music in the morning. And coffee. Just going through my collection of music in my hard drive and deleting the shitty songs. If the song doesn't please me I delete it the fuck off, it's that simple. It pays off when I prick my ears at some shit, quite nothing this morning, an Imperial State Electric song though was quite fucking groovy though. So groovy that I put it on my walkman.

After couple of hours of music and sitting on a chair, I got bored. Put on my running shoes and went running. It was alright, did my usual route four times, pretty easy. On the way back home, picked up the latest Queens Of The Stone Age album from a record store.

Drank several glass of wine in the evening, some beer and went to a nearby pub.
